Barossa Winery Jumps on Growing Interest in WA

Family-owned winery, Kellermeister, will expand its operations in the Barossa Valley to Perth this month, jumping on the back of strong and growing interest from the state.

“A large percentage of our cellar door sales are made by Western Australians”, newly appointed Sales Manager for WA, Daniel Fisher said. “There is a strong and growing market for our wines here and so it made sense to seize that opportunity by personally working with WA retailers and on-premise venues to ensure consumers can access our wines in their favourite bottle shop or restaurant.”

Kellermeister has a large portfolio that spreads across a number of ranges, including its well known Boots Cider and Fun Favourites range, which features a number of favourites from the 70s.

Fisher will be working with venues and retailers from this month to promote Kellermeister’s products and will be hosting a number of consumer tastings to help support the launch.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Kellermeister,” Fisher added. “Our wines are already so well liked and well received by Western Australians - it’s fantastic we can now build the brand here with quality products that people want to drink.

“I look forward to working with both on- and off-premise venues throughout the state and am confident we have a product that will walk off their shelves.”
