Congratulations BACARDÍ Legacy Finalists

This year’s BACARDÍ Legacy Global Cocktail Competition is now well underway and the top three Australian bartenders making their way through to the finals have been chosen.

Selected from 15 other competitors in the semi-finals, Andrew Bennett from The Classroom, WA; Peter Hollands from Gresham Bar, QLD; and Igor Pachi from Assembly Bar in NSW are now Australia’s finalists.

Contestants presented their legacy cocktail and BACARDÍ Daiquiri to legends Steve Schneider, Bonnie Shearston and Fred Siggins who selected Australia’s three most promising.

Andrew Bennett won with his cocktail ‘The Seventh Art’, while Peter Hollands won with his concoction of ‘The Treaty of Paris’ and Igor Pachi with ‘El Pasaporte’.

These lucky bartenders will now be individually mentored by a BACARDI Brand Ambassador and partner with BACARDI to promote their legacy cocktails.

During this five month promotional period, these bartenders will forge their way into the Australian cocktail industry with their “legacies”, before competing in the Grand Final, where one will be announced as the 2016 BACARDÍ Legacy Australia Cocktail Competition Winner.
