Vintage House Wine and Spirits are expanding their organic offering with ‘Blind Tiger’ Organic Gin.
Otherwise known as a ‘Speakeasy’ or ‘Blind Pig’, Blind Tiger is a reference to bar that illegally sold alcohol during the 1920s prohibition era.
Blind Tiger Organic Gin is made in the London Dry style, with all botanicals organically sourced. The juniper berry - a core botanical of many gins - provides a backbone of fresh spring forest and citrus notes. Coriander root, selected to enhance the citrus characters of the juniper and impart a subtle earthy character alongside angelica root, gives an aromatic and heady note of musk. Summer Savory completes the botanical mix and contributes a subtle mint like peppery character.
The combination of these herbs creates a London Dry gin that is worth a closer look; heading into summer is the perfect time to review your list of gins and test out a few mixers. Get mixing.
