William Grant & Sons Releases Second Installment in Rare Cask Reserves Collection

Following the arrival of Ghosted Reserve, William Grant & Sons (WG&S) has released the second whisky in its Rare Cask Reserves Collection - the Cruinnich.

The Cruinnich, alongside the other expressions in the WG&S Rare Cask Reserve Collection, has been blended at the hands of WG&S Master Blender, Brian Kinsman, who was given free reign and access to the Grant family private collection of unique and cherished whiskies, along with whiskies hailing from long-since closed and ‘ghosted’ distilleries.

The Cruinnich, translating to assembly or gathering, is a one-off 21 Year Old expression created exclusively for the Australian market with the region’s palate in mind.

All 4,900 bottles will be available exclusive to Dan Murphy’s stores following a promotional competition run by the retailer, which saw five winners join Kinsman in Dufftown, Scotland to assist in the whisky’s completion.

The Cruinnich will be on sale nationally through Dan Murphy’s, with an ABV of 42% and an RRP of $180.
