Bloom Gin Launches as Official Spirit Partner of Sydney Film Festival

Straight from the U.K., Bloom Gin, Australia’s newest luxury London Dry Gin, launched as the official spirit sponsor of the Sydney Film Festival.

The partnership with Sydney Film Festival is intended to help introduce Bloom Gin to the thousands of people who attend the Festival each year.

Bloom’s ready-to-drink Gin & Tonic will be provided at both the Opening and Closing Night parties. In addition, Bloom signature cocktails will be mixed for thirsty cine-files in the Festival’s Hub, a space to relax over a cocktail at the bar, lounge or gallery areas.

Bloom Gin is distilled in G&J Distillers, one of the oldest gin distilleries in the U.K., where they have been producing gin since 1761.

Master Distiller Joanne Moore, who became the world’s first female gin distiller in 2006, chose the flowers of chamomile and honeysuckle, with the citrus fruit pomelo, to make up the three main botanicals for Bloom.

These botanical choices create a light, floral gin with a slightly sweet taste, a smooth mouth feel and a citrus finish.

Bloom’s London Dry Gin is available at Dan Murphys online, RRP AU $69.90, as distributed by Direct Brands.
