Beenleigh Distillery Rivals Vodka Category

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery has released a vodka that it believes will take on Absolut and Smirnoff in bars and clubs in Australia.

Beenleigh Cane Cutter Vodka, like the distillery’s rums, is also made from locally sourced produce, including Queensland cane, water and yeast. The vodka is also made from molasses instead of grains, making it gluten-free.

“This is the only vodka in the country produced from molasses,” Bickford’s Group of Companies spokesman Chris Illman said. “It is distilled no less than five times, including once in a traditional copper pot still.”

“We only use Queensland cane and its smooth sweetness really comes through in the glass,” Illman added.

“This is a high-quality Aussie spirit that’s perfect for those who can’t drink gluten products.”

The new artisan spirit can be enjoyed straight or in a number of cocktails, offering a smooth, full bodied vodka with residual sweetness.

Beenleigh Cane Cutter Vodka is available from Vok Beverages. RRP $55
