Teeling Toasts to New Distillery with ‘The Revival’

The Teeling Whiskey Company (TWC) will release ‘The Revival’ in Australia next February - a limited edition 15 Year Old Single Malt - to commemorate the opening of its new distillery in Dublin. The Teeling Distillery is the first distillery to have opened in the capital of Ireland in over 125 years.

The Revival has been matured in ex-rum casks and bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration to retain the unique nuances of Irish whiskey.

On the nose, the whiskey has wonderful brown sugar and raisin notes, followed by a light fruitiness. To taste, the drinker will find a myriad of cinnamon, allspice, vanilla, clove and peach flavours, culminating in a clean dry finish with lingering wood tannins.

Distributor SouthTrade International will receive bottles of The Revival prior to St Patrick’s Day 2016. The expression is expected to retail for $160-170 approximately.
