Jack Daniel’s Continues Singular Moments Event Series with a Celebration of Whiskey at Sydney’s Botanic Gardens

Earlier this week, Palm House in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens provided the unique backdrop for the latest event in Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Singular Moments Series.

Usually only open to members of the public during the day, Palm House provided the perfect setting for guests to be taken through several immersive whiskey tasting masterclasses, each aiming to educate consumers and trade alike on the unique flavour profile of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.

A highlight of the evening, MasterChef Winner and Three Blue Ducks Chef, Andy Allen provided guests with a food and whiskey pairing, having created a menu designed specifically to compliment and highlight the different characteristics of the expression. Later in the evening, guests were invited to try their hand at creating their own Old Fashioned and signature bitters using Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel.

The event in Sydney follows the series from Perth, where guests were seated at a cave in the Yanchep National Park in WA, inspired by the Jack Daniel’s Cave Spring in Lynchburg – source to the natural spring water used in the production process at the Jack Daniel’s distillery.

Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is made from only hand-selected individual barrels, meaning that no two bottles are the same. The expression does however hold Jack Daniel’s hallmark notes of roasted oak and vanilla on the nose, along with liquorice and leather on the palate and a refined finish with hints of maple syrup and lemon. RRP $100.
