Hawthorne Brewing Co. Releases Midnight in Bombay

Hawthorne Brewing Co. has just revealed Midnight in Bombay. The dark spiced wheat ale is the third release from their single batch Brewshed Collection.

The unfiltered all-malt wheat ale is gypsy-brewed at Blackmans Brewery in Torquay. Inspired by a recent trip to India, Chief Brewing Officer Hamish Reed infuses traditional flavours of the region into the brew.

Roasted malt, smooth aniseed, cocoa and smoky black cardamom give the beer it’s dark colouring and flavour. Cloves, coriander and green cardamom pods are also added to give the brew a balanced lightness. The result is a dark beer that is smooth, dry and surprisingly refreshing.

Added bonus, the beer contains no added sugar, chemicals or preservatives.

The limited keg only release will be available in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra until sold out. For more information visit www.hawthornbrewing.com.au
