Australian Sales Director to Manage Pernod Ricard NZ

Former Pernod Ricard Australia Sales Director, Kevin Mapson, has been appointed as Managing Director of the wine and spirits company’s New Zealand business.

Mapson previously worked for Pernod Ricard New Zealand in 2004 as National Trading Manager and later General Manager Sales before moving to Pernod Ricard Australia as Sales Director. He has already relocated to the country to start his new role with immediate effect.

Replacing Mapson is Jeff McKenzie, formerly National Business Manager, Woolworths at Pernod Ricard Australia. Both will report into Julien Hémard, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Pacific.

“Having led the Pernod Ricard Australia sales team for the past three years and achieving year-on-year growth for the business, Kevin is in a very strong position to succeed in this role over in New Zealand”, Hémard said.

“Kevin’s successor, Jeff, has been a key member of the sales leadership team and has led a successful Woolworths sales team over the last three years. He is going to make a great leader for Pernod Ricard Australia’s sales team.

“I am very proud of the achievements across Pernod Ricard Pacific in recent years, and there is no doubt that Kevin and Jeff will bring a wealth of expertise and experience.”
