Karma Cola - as Good for You as a Fizzy Drink Can Be

All Good is the brand behind a new range of fizzy drinks made from organic, Fairtrade ingredients, including Fairtrade organic cane sugar.

Wanting to create a healthier alternative to the fizzy drinks currently on the market, All Good came up with new recipes for cola, lemonade and ginger ale. While All Good’s products are made using different ingredients, each still retains the flavour and fizziness consumers would expect from these traditional soft drinks.

“We believe what you drink should not only taste good, it should be good for the land, good for the people who grow the ingredients and as good for you as a fizzy drink can be”, All Good says.

“It’s hard to find a great tasting soft drink that’s good for you. Mostly they’re full of ingredients you can’t pronounce, combined with sugar that you really shouldn’t be chugging.

“At Karma Cola, we reckon it’s a good idea to cut back on stuff that’s bad for you and, unless it’s a special occasion, drink a glass of water. But if you’re hot and thirsty, and you crave a cold refreshing fizzy drink, then drink one of ours.”

Transparent about what goes into its products, All Good publishes each of the ingredients it uses, as well as where they’re sourced from.

The cola alternative, Karma Cola, uses a Fairtrade cola nut from the Gola Rainforest in Africa, as well as Fairtrade organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice concentrate, Fairtrade organic vanilla extract and organic barley grain, while the oils are naturally sourced from nutmeg, coriander, cinnamon, lemon, lime and orange.

“There are no preservatives or phosphoric acid, no high fructose corn syrup, no caramel colouring, no ‘e’ numbers; nothing we can’t pronounce, just natural ingredients in pure sparkling water”, All Good says commenting on its Karma Cola.

Lemmy Lemonade also uses Fairtrade organic cane sugar from the Suminter Organic Famers Consortium in Maharashtra, India combined with lemon juice (31 per cent), grapefruit essence and Vitamin C Ascorbic Acid.

Gingerella is made from ginger found in Sri Lanka’s highlands, 10cm beneath some of the world’s most fertile soils. This is combined with Fairtrade organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice concentrate and Fairtrade organic vanilla extract.
