Malt Fiction Releases Second Brew

South Australian brewing company Malt Fiction has released its second brew and first in can. Session Ale follows its older brother ’13’, the first beer launched by Malt Fiction in February last year.

The beer is made from all natural ingredients and the brewery has added Amarillo hops to make it slightly bitter, but fruity and session-able.

As for the trendy 375ml can, Malt Fiction brewers Jared Birbeck, Peter Lynn and Antony Tropeano say it’s to help increase the quality and quantity of their brews, following the popularity of 13 and in preparation of the release of several limited edition beers later this year.

“A conscious decision was made to sell Session Ale in a can rather than a glass bottle for a variety of reasons which benefit both the consumer and the final product”, Birbeck said.

“Cans are 100 per cent recyclable, allowing us to increase the quality and quantity of our brews…Cans also preserve the beer’s flavour and shelf life, thanks to limited light and oxygen exposure.”

For more information or for stock of Session Ale, contact Peter Lynn ([email protected]) – Director of Sales and Distribution. A carton of Session Ale retails for $70.
